Such simple questions by Angus make it very clear that these men have no real ability to protect..
He simply repeats what he has been told by the FDS, "if a person is repentant, he is allowed to attend meetings, and we would keep an eye on him" ...
And what if he had been an abuser of his family, would you be able to watch him in the home?

much has already been written about dr monica applewhite, the expert witness hired by the jw organization.

her job was to provide "expert" testimony to the australian commission of inquiry into jehovsh's witnesses' policies and practices on child sexual abuse.

astonishingly, dr applewhite was unprepared for the inquiry lawyers' questions.

I love this phrase, I read it on another topic here (can't remember who, sorry)
Perhaps ask them if any of the victims have had their lives torn apart, or if they had been "stumbled", and if they remember how Jesus felt about matters as these.

I think that with all the "CONFIDENTIAL" letters that the Aussie Gov got a hold of, and posted, it will be easier to see through the smoke screen, and behind the curtain of the GB. Many lawyers will love it!
Never before have people had this official documentation in their hands, being able to see the cold-heartedness of these 'men of God.'

But what happens when they know of a "worldly" sex offender living in the area?
Whenever the elders are notified of a known sex offender living in the territory, they are to mark the address on the territory card as a “Do Not Call.” Thereafter, two elders should visit these addresses every six months to a year to give the individuals an opportunity to hear the good news and verify whether the sex offender still lives there.
